Rain Barrels Are Coming Back to Wyoming on November 6
Over 200 rain barrels were sold in June through the Metropolitan Sewer District's (MSD) pilot program in the City of Wyoming to reduce combined sewer overflows to Mill Creek. Due to high demand, MSD will continue to make barrels available to Wyoming residents for $80 each - a savings of $40 per barrel! Purchase order forms will be mailed in September. Residents will have the option of returning their payment with the form or paying at the Fall Festival on October 2. The pick-up date is scheduled for November 6. Rain barrels must be pre-ordered and each new rain barrel owner will receive an instructional installation DVD. Please click here for an order form and more information.
Showcase your art at Art on the Avenue
Wyoming residents are invited to display their art at the Wyoming Presbyterian Church during Fall Festival on October 2. Artists high school age and up are invited to submit their work for selection. Fall Festival and Fun Run/Walk
The 28th annual Fall Festival will be held on 10/2 from 10 am-5 pm along Wyoming Ave. For booth or entertainment information call 513.821.5423 or email lrusnak@wyoming.oh.us.
The Fun Run/Walk will be held on 10/2 at 9 am with race day registration at 8 am. The race will begin and end at Hilltop Park. For information call 513.821.5200 or visit www.wyomingrecreation.org. $15 pre-registration before 9/24, $25 pre-registration before 9/24 with a long sleeve t-shirt, $20 day of race.

CONGRESS RUN RECONSTRUCTION
The Congress Run reconstruction project began on April 19 and is scheduled to be completed by December 2010. Congress Run is closed to thru traffic for the duration of the project. Preschoolers are invited to take a dip in the Play & Spray before the pool opens Monday thru Friday from 10 am- 12 pm at the Family Aquatic Center all season long!

Labor Day at Aquatic Center

Donate & Swim (12-6 pm)
In appreciation for a season of dedication, enjoy the FAC free with your donation of back-to-school supplies to be given to Wyoming Youth Services. Open to all residents.
DOG DAYS OF SUMMER (6:30-8:30 pm)
On Labor Day, beginning at 6:30 pm, the FAC will go to the dogs for "DOG DAYS OF SUMMER." Dogs under 40 lbs. may swim from 6:30-7:30 pm and dogs over 40 lbs. may swim from 7:30-8:30 pm. Soft toys and balls for fetching are permissible. Dogs must remain under the control of their owners. Children are not permitted in the water. One adult, 18 years of age, and over is required for each dog. Cost per dog is $3 and humans are free! Spectators are welcome to enjoy this howling good time!
Community Art Centers Day
Visit the Wyoming Center for the Arts on Sunday, September 12 from 12-4 pm for an afternoon of free events for children and adults. The Center for the Arts will host the Schoolhouse Symphony, demo classes, hands-on-art projects and an instrument petting zoo for kids and adult to try different musical instruments.

Run, Jump-n-Play: September 17 from 6-9 pm
Enjoy hours of fun with you family, fellow residents and friends. Each paid participant will get access to the inflatables, 18 holes of mini glow-golf and 10 frames of glow-bowling. Must pre-register by September 15 at the Recreation Center. $12 per person. Run, Jump-N-Play is located at 8481 Duke Blvd in Mason.
2nd Annual Fall Festival Corn Hole Tournament
Event will take place at the Village Green on October 2 in conjunction with the Fall Festival.
Cost per Team: $5
Ages: 12 and Up
At least 1 player must be a Wyoming resident or work in Wyoming.
Register at the Recreation Center by Oct. 1. Walk up registrations will be taken between 11-11:30am at the event.

Single elimination or round robin (depends on number of participants)
First team to score 21 wins!
1.The first side of contestants alternate pitching corn bags until they have thrown all eight corn bags, then the remaining contestant (pitching from the other cornhole platform) continue to alternate in the same manner until all eight corn bags are delivered and the inning completed.
2.A contestant may deliver the corn bag from either the left or right pitchers box (see above) but, in any one inning, all corn bags must be delivered from the same pitcher's box.
3.Each individual contestant shall deliver the corn bag within 30 seconds. The time shall start when the contestant steps onto the pitcher's box with the intention of pitching.
4.The game shall be played to 21 unless a team scores 11 or more points at the end of an inning before their opponents score any points. In this case the game is a skunk and the team that scores 11 or more points wins the match.
5.Eight bags per team member for warm ups, each new game, if needed.
