Recycling

The Public Works Department manages the contract for waste, recycling, and yard waste removal and for special waste services for all residents through a contract with Rumpke. The City's recycling program includes curbside collection of glass, cans, plastic, corrugated cardboard, magazines, catalogs, and newspapers.

DSC01588.JPGDue to changes in technology, Rumpke is now able to separate your recycling at their recycling center. You are no longer asked to separate your recycling yourself. Recyclable materials are placed at the curb in a "Wyoming Recycles" bin or a 65 Gallon Rolling Containers on your regular trash day. Materials, which will not fit in the bins, should be put in a bag and placed on top, or next to the bins. Bins are distributed by the City of Wyoming. You may obtain your bins at the City Building, 800 Oak Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday on regular business days. There is no separate charge for the bins or the recycling service.
