Wyoming Recreation & Citizen Engagement Department

The Department offers a swim team, swim lessons, day camp, and exercise/workout programs for all ages as well as a preschool program and much more. The Department is responsible for organizing special events sponsored by the City including the Fourth of July celebration, Fall Festival, Halloween events, and the Holiday celebrations. the Recreation & Citizen Engagement Department is also responsible for managing the Wyoming Civic Center including its rentals and recreational and community events occurring at this site.
The Department is responsible for Citywide contract administration as well as managing individual recreational contracts including those with fitness instructors, program instructors, and the management of the Family Aquatic Center; managing the City’s Performance Measurement Program; and other special projects as necessary.
